Let’s accelerate action at our International Women’s Day Panel & Luncheon!
Join us for a day of inspiring conversations and celebration.
9:30AM – Community Panel (Free & Open to the Public)
Kick off the day by connecting with other globally minded community members and hearing from local leaders as they address how we can accelerate action in honor of International Women’s Day. This community program is free and open to all. Doors open at 8:30AM, coffee and connection at 9AM.

Luncheon will be in the Ballroom on the third floor of Lawrence Hall, 212 Wood Street, Pittsburgh PA 15212
- Following the panel, join us for a ticketed luncheon with our featured speaker, Lulu Garcia-Navarro, two-time Peabody Award-winning journalist. The luncheon will include a special performance and Dr. Ali Hamdani, senior director of International Business and Global Care for UPMC
- Illuminate Awards presented by the David Glick Memorial Fund, recognizes leaders who have made a difference in advancing global awareness and connection in the Pittsburgh region. Doors open at 10:30AM.

- The Pittsburgh Parking Authority operates large parking facilities throughout Downtown Pittsburgh, and offers a garage and lot finder. Those closest to Point Park are:
- Third Avenue Garage -- Located between Wood and Market streets, across from Thayer Hall.
- Wood-Allies Garage -- Located between Wood and Market streets, across the street from Academic and Thayer Halls.
- Mon Wharf -- Located off Fort Pitt Boulevard at Wood Street. Note: The Mon Wharf is subject to closure when high water on the Monongahela River floods the parking areaa.
- Metered parking is available on some streets in and around campus, but please be aware that metered spaces are regularly checked and violations will be ticketed.
