Explore the city and the meaning of democracy on this community bike ride!
Join us for a Global Community Bike Ride on Friday, October 3rd from 5:00PM-7:00PM to enjoy our city's streets, connect with globally-minded friends and neighbors, and take in a beautiful sunset.
This ride's theme is Democracy. We will be taking Global Stop Talks - short meaningful conversations to spotlight on local, national, and international efforts to strengthen democracy.
We'll ride portions of the Great Allegheny Passage. Along the way, we'll hear from partners about how they're helping promote and strengthen democratic values right here in Pittsburgh. We'll meet at The Shore Thing, 12 Federal St Suite 130, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
This is a no-drop ride that welcomes all paces. We’ll take breaks along the way to hear from our speakers.
A limited number of free POGOH bikes will be available for this ride. RSVP early to request your bike while they are still available. Plan to arrive early so you're ready to roll at 5:00PM.
After the ride, we’ll keep the conversation going over refreshments at The Shore Thing, first round on us.
Riders of all skill levels are welcome, and we invite you to bring your friends. Register today to reserve your FREE spot.
We’re excited to partner with Great Allegheny Passage Conservancy and others on this ride!
